Our first French NYE (and lockdown)

It’s been a while so Matt and I are off to Bricomarche! Half way down the road I realised that I had forgotten to change my slippers into shoes. Thankfully the new ones that Muma Camp got me are suitable enough as they have good soles and nobody will notice.

Managed to get some pots which was good – I think we got some other stuff but I wasn’t too worried about that, it’s all Matt stuff. We then headed off to Lidl just to see what they have. Queued up for a while and managed to buy a lot of random things that we didn’t plan on. I am sure that they will be useful though – most importantly we bought a ‘Christmas Carol Helebore’ for the garden! I absolutely love these plants.

Got back, pottered about a bit, and made dinner. Apparently if you put too much sauce on them Nachos go rather soggy…

Evening and it is back to mask making. I need to get these finished so that Tonia can take them back to London for Doug. Got a bit miffed after breaking a needle so gave up but the first one is done so pretty happy about that!

Not the regular NYE – just TV and drinks, so much like other evenings. Spoke to Lee and Vicky and Jeff and Vivian in the evening. Had lots of fun dancing around in the living room and being generally silly on the zoom.

I was so distracted I didn’t realise that the others had gone to bed. Bad Chaney – time for bed!
