Well, it has definitely been snowing. The place looks like a winter wonderland of snow.

As luck would booked a van for the day from St Gaudens to go and pick up the plasterboard that we need to mount the wall in basement and frame up the kitchen. So lots of driving about in the snow.

Having tried 3 places already we were running out of options before we had to go down to Luchon. Thankfully Chausson to the rescue – wouldn’t have been so bad if we hadn’t driven past it on the way out. They were super helpful and efficient though and even helped us pack the van – there was maybe 2-3mm of extra space in the van but that was enough.

Got home and unpacked the van. Time to get back into the warm and back to work.

Seems that Matt’s duck isn’t working properly so he’s replaced the switch and cleaned up the terminals and it seems to be working again.

While Matt heads off to bed I make a start on taking down the Christmas decorations. That’s the lights and decorations off the tree. The rest can wait till tomorrow. I’m off to bed.
