Thursday

Things are starting to happen. We have news from the Camp family that bags are packed and the journey has begun! First up, I off collecting a wealth of beautiful mirabelle plums, then off to go collect a baby car seat for Rhys and Lucy. While out I saw a number of interesting events coming up so thought I’d best take pics and let Matt know.

Back at home Matt has now attached my new washing line, pretty pleased with that and the excuse to have a look around the garden before I get to work in the house. As a thank you bought Matt back a little posey of sweet peas and little zinnias.

After a little more work on Room 5 the focus for today is the second floor bathroom.

Friday

Lots to do today but much more exciting than most days as I am having my wedding make-up test, another practice of my hair and Matt and I are going out for date night. So first things first, I’m off up to Rane’s. She is ever so clever and getting quicker. I suspect that she wishes I’d asked for something simpler but here we are and I think it looks great.

Back at home and there’s not much I can do that wouldn’t get a lot of dust in my hair so I’m left to potter about a bit while I wait for my lovely make-up lady. I was a bit worried about whether she’d understood what I was looking for but it turned out as well as could be hoped for.

Next big decision is what to wear for date night. Cressida says I should go for the red so I have. I had this dress custom made in Thailand many years ago but never worn it till now.

Glad I got dressed up as was treated to my second proposal, and now with the actual ring! 🙂

To celebrate we’re off over to Bossost and to try out the Michelein starred El Portalet.

After my treats yesterday today is Matt’s turn, he’s off again, heading back to the UK to go to the F1 at Silverstone with Brandon.

Sunday

A swim to start the day, get me going and to reflect on the beauty of my lovely new ring.

Then back up to the second floor bathroom to see if I can make it a bit more presentable. It’s getting better but it’s going to need at least a couple more coats. Done with this tub though and seems that the cat wants me.

Meanwhile Matt seems to be having fun at the F1. Lucky boy is also having chinese back at the flat – now I’m jealous!

Tuesday

Off to do the recycling and took pictures of each one so that when the hoards descend they can be initiated into the way that we need to split these up locally otherwise I’m going to have a hell of a job resorting it all. Then to make Matt a new posey to celebrate his return and collect some seeds.

With the family on their way soon we need to start getting these rooms ready which necessitates a lot of cleaning, furniture moving and bed making.
