Was up till after 3am talking to Matt which was nice. Had some lovely dreams. Woke up at 11 and messaged Matt but while waiting for a reply I accidentally fell back to sleep… Oops! So it’s now 4pm and I best get myself together and get some things done. First to choose my outfit for dinner this evening while it is still light. It can be difficult to find things after dark due to the limited lighting available.

Pretty miserable out today so glad I stayed in bed.

Got a few bits and pieces to do. Need to go check the oil in the tank so we can keep track and get a rough idea of how quickly we are getting through it/when we need to order more. Last thing we need is to let it get too low. The delivery guy did say it probably needs a really good clear out as is probably thick with sludge at the bottom. Part of the reason that they don’t make them that large anymore. Sent the picture to Matt and apparently I have been conserving it well. I take after my father and am very fiscally responsible [

Washing needs folding. Well a little bit of the washing. Most of it (after 2 days in the kitchen) is still damp so I’ve just spaced it out a bit more. We’ve had the TV box for a while now and the rugby is on tomorrow so might watch it in French. Looks pretty straightforward so can do this on my own. Success, we have channels.

A little bit of leftover pasta for ‘lunch’ but not too much as I am going out for dinner. Thought I’d see if the door from the kitchen might fit the attic. Not convinced but worth a shot. Nope. Not by a mile.

Quick bit of stripping but the wall isn’t in great condition. There’s clearly a thin layer of plaster that isn’t well attached so will need to come off. Time’s up though and I need to get ready to go out. [You can hear about that another day, for now it is a secret!]
